Carrer
Mariana Jorge is an award-winning director of films, music clips,
commercials, documentaries and fashion films. She had the opportunity to
direct internationally acclaimed artists, such as Bill Murray, Anderson Silva,
Seu Jorge, Willem Dafoe, Jey Pearson and Marisa Monte. As a still
photographer, Mariana shot the acclaimed movie CITY OF GOD, the
architect Oscar Niemeyer and fashion editorials for VOGUE and ELLE
magazines. In Brazil, she is recognized as one of the first female cinemathografer
in the market and built, for the past 30 years, a strong creative and activist
journey. Mariana studied at the prestigious French school of editing Next
Formation, at the Pan-American School of Arts, Rockport Main and
Creative Writing at UCLA. Most recently, she is shooting the international
tour of Caetano Velloso and writing her first feature film.
